Rihanna Deserves Privacy THERE HAVE BEEN numerous calls by people in our society to find ways to honour Rihanna on her international success. Some have called for us to erect structures, others have suggested placing her image at the airport. I believe that the best way to honour this hardworking young woman is to give her, and any guests she brings along with her, privacy. When all of us come home from work we don’t like to think our neighbours are spying on us, and furthermore at times we even desire privacy from the others sharing our homes. So instead of local photographers patterning themselves after the paparazzi, we should respect Rihanna’s need for privacy – something we all require. ‘Ri Ri’s not broke’
TALK OF Rihanna being broke has been dismissed as nothing more than “just another rumour” by family members, in Barbados. Stories have been appearing on several international websites and blogs that the Barbadian-born superstar only has US$20 000 left in the bank. The information was brought to the public by a Patricia Williams, who claimed to be Rihanna’s business manager who was fired by the Grammy-winning songbird. The blogs read that Williams was fired after Rihanna discovered there was only US$20 000 in her bank account. The story was first published on Page Six, an on-line edition of the New York Post, from which Williams said she was fired “for no good reason, all in ignorance” and is “livid” with Rihanna and her management company Rebel One’s decision to fire her.
“I’m a professional business manager, I have a staff of more than a dozen, I have worked for many high-profile actors, musicians, and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna? “I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances, but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. “I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered”. The Barbados-born singer has had four back-to-back albums, including a re-release, since her debut, Pon De Replay, in 2005. According to Willliams, Marc Jordan, manager and owner of Rebel One Management, has been taking care of Rihanna’s financial situation with her. “Def Jam doesn’t fund Rihanna properly, so Marc uses the money Rihanna makes from third-party endorsements and from tours to fund her album and music videos,” she said. “Since 2005, Rihanna has been sponsored by the likes of JC Penny, Samsung, CoverGirl, Secret, Venus Breeze [and so on], and has gone on two major tours, most recently . . . Kanye West’s Glow in the Dark tour.” Williams said close to $750 000 was spent on the most recent video and single Disturbia, and that Rihanna made “a little bit above a million” and “all of it was spent on making her as big as she is now”. A family member told the SATURDAY SUN these types of rumours come with the territory. “We never addressed rumours in the past and we are not going to start now,” said the member of Rihanna’s family. |

Maybe someone very close to Rihanna gave her the heads up as she is now more mature and grown, to look into her financial situation at this point in her career. That’s why others in the business have their mothers and fathers there to look into these types of situations because it has happened time and time again to too many others (too mumerous to mention). I heard in a previous interview that Chris Brown checks out each check before it approved to see why and where it is going, his mother sees about his some of his business as well, Beyonce’s father was in their’s as Destiny Child and beyond, Bill Cosby taught most blacks in business to always be the one to sign each check and not leave it up to the other folks – he taught Oprah Winfrey and she is very successful – VERY SUCCESSFUL!!!!! I hope that she (Rihanna) caught them red-handed and was able to nip it in the bud before it got worse. She is old enough now to ask business questions and hire who she wants to assist her with these types of things now.
Strangely enough this is same thing myself and a good friend of mine had several conversations about her when she started out – we didn’t hear too much about her parents back then, and we were hoping she would get someone in the family to be involcved in her finances while she makes the money – and now look – the rumours are flying about this same situation two years later.
I HOPE SHE CHANGE HER STAFF AROUND AND TAKE A GRIP ON THINGS BEFORE IT GETS WORSE IF IT IS SO AT ALL.

Rihanna gets most of her money from endorsement deals
think about rihanna dosent produce her albums( which she should do) or write music, she gas to pay all that money to the record label which could be millions, before you guys curse me out I know this because I’m an A&R rep at Def Jam Records so I’ve worked with many artist
