We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister,’ Rih Rih tells MTV News of her rumored boyfriend.
They are irrevocably linked as two of the hottest singers on the planet, but Chris Brown and Rihanna aren’t linked romantically, the pair insisted to MTV News at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, denying persistent reports that they are a couple.
“I won’t say that we’re just friends - me and Chris are really best, best friends,” Rihanna corrected, smiling. “We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry … I trust and hang out with all the time. We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that.”
“They keep asking me, ‘What’s the deal?’ ” Brown echoed. “I’m like, ‘There’s no deal. No deal.’ We’re just friends.”

This is actually an older song, release quite some time ago, but I thought I’d post about it again. In a recent interview with Singersroom, musician Razah talked about his album and collaborations. Here’s what he had to say:
Singersroom:You have Caribbean roots so why didn’t you decide to be a reggae artist?
Razah: It’s kind of like the same thing. I used to be into the reggae. When I first was doing music I was putting little reggae songs out. And I grew up on Bobby Condas and Jabba. So on the album I got songs with that reggae feel. I got a song with Damian Marley, another song called “Fight,” and “Where Do We Go From Here” with Rihanna. All of those have the Caribbean feel and it’s what I love to do. I enjoy making music. It’s not just R&B music or reggae music.
Rihanna and Chris Brown both walked the orange carpet at the Kids’ Choice Awards. Separately.
“We’re not in a relationship or anything,” Brown told The Associated Press before Saturday’s ceremony.
Rumors have been swirling for weeks the R&B singers are dating, but Brown was quick to squash such gossip, insisting he was single and Rihanna was just a friend. The 18-year-old “Kiss Kiss” crooner, clad in a custom-made orange hoodie emblazoned with a blingin’ Nickelodeon logo, later collected a trophy for favorite male singer.
Rihanna, 20, bypassed the press line before the awards ceremony, strutting down the carpet in a polka-dot corset top.
Screams could be heard echoing from Malibu to Pasadena when Jack Black hosted the 21st Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion on Saturday night. Stars ranging from Harrison Ford, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Will Smith to comers like Chris Brown, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers were all on hand to pick up awards and witness the slime-a-thon firsthand.
And many stars looked like they were dressed to be slimed as opposed to posing on a press line. Here we take a look at whose fashions were starry and whose were slime-worthy. Yes, we’re looking at you Brendan Fraser, clearly ready for the slime squirting microphone.
R&B star RIHANNA is giving her charity for under-privileged children a big boost by holding a mini-tour to raise funds for the cause. The Grammy Award-winning artist created the Believe Foundation in 2006 with the aim to assist children in need all over the world. The organisation provides kids with everything from medical attention to school supplies.
And kind-hearted Rihanna is staging a series of special shows to raise the charity’s awareness and give sick kids the chance to have some fun.
The A Girl’s Night Out tour kicked off on Wednesday (26-Mar-08) night at Chicago, Illinois’ Vision nightclub, and Rihanna has another two shows scheduled for 28 March 2008 at San Francisco’s Ruby Skye and 9 April 2008 at New York City’s HighLine Ballroom.
